Well, here we are.. the last dying gasps of the Month Project which I've probably randomly capitalized at least a few times in here. Who knows? August: Imperfection Perfection was very much a return to my origins. Almost every song on it was recorded in one take by myself in my basement. I wasn't sure what the future was going to hold for the Month Project. We were planning on taking songs into a studio for an album that would become The Pineapple Army Presents: Yoko Smoke & The Pineapple Army but I can't ever stop writing new songs so that's where this album came from. A collection of lyrics that didn't have a home being hastily crafted and compiled into an album no one would ever hear.

This song is about two lovers with secret lives.
