Fridge 02:22
You can tell by the way that your body shakes, They’re gaining, through aches, a most accomplished strength Now you’ve become a menace. You don’t even need a bow, you just throw the arrow And then they drag you off to the cabin And then they handcuff you to the furnace The waters dripping in the furnace, the water. You can tell by the screams that the kill is complete And the savages creep because you’re still asleep. The fridge has been silent but suddenly it speaks But it was too late and no one heard a thing. You’re a legend as well as a statistic Theres a valuable lesson here but you missed it Because you were too busy becoming an amputee. Then they cut off your arms Then they cut off your legs Then they cut off your head And now you ain’t got no arms and legs, bitch. You can tell by the way that your body breaks They’ve come to take your heart away

Skinvelope 03:33
Cut your finger and sign the dotted line Cut your throat and start your new life as a mailbox Constantly lost in translation, made up of bills, highly combustible Rust while the hands spin Dust cakes on old grins No one ever wins, just put off losing. So you bandage your diary and buy some new pens. You write only one thing, that you never want to see me again And then you drop it off in the nearest mailbox And then you burn down the post office. You’re writing lists of people to kill, poetry to tear up, sand dunes to fill. Your knuckles taste like skin and concrete. I’m putting some more pressure on me By taking off all this extra skin and replacing it with yours. They say that I’m nervous. Of course I’m so nervous. I don’t like candles behind me. I think they’re stupid Because when I get ideas my whole head goes up in flames Like that’s my best allusion to America’s confusion. My tried and true solution? I should move into an institution.

We had no chance. He was dead when he was born. Not so much dead, he was aging before our eyes. This isn’t normal. This isn’t good. Did you call a preacher? Cause someone should. There’s a man with a rope in his stomach with the mind of a newborn child With the face of a dying soldier with no concept of the speed of time. There’s a body collapsed in the hallway who has died of natural causes. He never met eyes with his mother. This is a job for science. This isn’t normal. This isn’t right. A baby was born and an old man died.

Turn my back on sleep; I just don’t have the time. The more that I create the more something else dies. Turn the record manually; you have the best sense of tempo here. I didn’t know you were a DJ; you fit in with us so well. Turn my back on the condo, I can’t get to sleep tonight. So I’m going out to the club and I’m going to start a fight. Face forward, you’re going to want to see this. The blood thats left after the cocoon splits Is DNA tested with the blood found on your lips. It’s a perfect match. Turn your head so precisely so we can’t see your expression. I didn’t know you were so fragile that you’d break from the smallest impression. Now the rag doll thats left in your position still fails to coexist. So we’ll waste to skin and bones while we wait for you to make a fist. Face forward, you’re going to want to see this. The blood thats left after the cocoon splits Is DNA tested with the blood found on your lips. It’s a perfect match.

Ghost Bear 03:46
I need to do a head check. Is everyone inside? Can I barricade us in now? Are you sure that no ones died? We’re out of our bubble and cast into survival. We’ll be in deep trouble if you keep up that denial. There’s a ghost of a bear that roams nowhere and everywhere at once. This isn’t what I hoped for. We came ill-prepared. Little herbal energy, now there’s a ghost bear Waiting in the distance, sharpening his style. You think that he can’t hurt you? Yeah. Keep up that denial. There’s a ghost of a bear that roams nowhere and everywhere at once. (Paranoia, growing thick. Ghost bears brilliant. Ghost bears sick. Paranoia, growing thick. Ghost bears brilliant. Ghost bears slick.) (He can’t smell our fear, we have masks. He can’t get near ghost bear traps)

Lemon Tree 04:31
I picked the ripest lemon off the tree And I can’t even put it into words what it did to me. My lips were puckered, a pleasant looking face. It expressed my joy and the righteous feeling, not to mention the taste. I close my eyes, count to ten and then I let it out again. I have to spread the news: It’s happening. There’s an orchard I know of full of lemons, full of love, full of drugs. I picked the ripest lemon off the tree And then the other flavors seemed to follow almost naturally. It has a funny way of making sense. If I wasn’t such a glutton then it wouldn’t have to end. I close my eyes, count to ten and think of solid ground again As my head pops out of thin air but no one was there. There’s an orchard I know of full of lemons, full of love, full of drugs. There’s an ocean I know of full of lemons, full of love, full of medicine. I picked the ripest lemon off the tree then tentacles burst from the purple sky and they were mad at me. They tore me limb from limb but I bounced back. As an army we are ready for any variety of attack. I close my eyes, count to ten, I open them and all my friends Are screaming things beyond all means of hallucinogens. There’s an orchard I know of full of lemons, full of love, full of drugs. There’s an ocean I know of full of lemons, full of love, full of hugs.

about

The Pineapple Army Michigan

I've always been terrible at writing biographies so why stop now. We're probably a band from Michigan. We don't adhere to a specific genre which causes mild schizophrenia in certain individuals. We will write commercial jingles for the right price and we do NOT play at weddings, only funerals. ... more
