I used to have very large goals and one of those was to get a bunch of indie bands to record a cover of Bright Eyes' album Fever and Mirrors. This was merely conceived because another band in the Ypsilanti music scene George Orwell and the Flying Typewriters covered "The Calendar Hung Itself" and I thought myself a great orchestrator that could get 10 other bands to record songs. Nothing ever came of it because, of course not.
