I'm fairly certain the song title comes from me not having a name for what I wrote and then my girlfriend at the time saying these exact words. I'm not one to second guess song titles, or at least I wasn't then.

I'm pretty sure this is the only song of mine that she liked. She said the beginning sounded like Ave Maria. I don't know French.

The theme of "a quiet 'yes'" would appear throughout TPA's earlier works. It was born from a night at a friend's uncle's house that put me on a path for the next several years.
